Dion Devow
Dion will travel with Nova as her Personal assistant. Hailing from Darwin, Dion is of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent and has extensive experience in health promotion and liaison. Dion has worked as a Health Worker in Darwin and Canberra since 1993 and graduated from the University of Canberra in 1997 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Health Education.
Dion is known as a friendly and approachable character. It is important to understand and respect cultural sensitivities around Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and to acknowledge his capacity as a male Health Worker. Dion is available to take enquiries around the distribution of promotional material and to assist Nova and the advocates in the planning and execution of communication strategies in relation to the promotion of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Check.
Dion with his wife Danielle, son Dante' and daughter D'shontea.
