Nathan Blacklock
Nathan Blacklock grew up in the small north western
NSW tablelands town of Tingha, with a population of just 900.
He grew up riding his bike, fishing, hunting and playing touch footy.
After finishing school, Nathan moved to Sydney to play for the Roosters.
After two years at the roosters Nathan moved to the dragons. He
established himself as a swift and elusive winger and fullback.
In his first season in 1998 he was St. george dragons leading tryscorer
and was voted rookie of the year. In 1999 Nathan went on to become
the leagues leading tryscorer, was voted Daley M winger of the year
and lead the dragons to an NRL grand final. He continued as the
leagues leading tryscorer in 2000 and 2001.
Nathan will be playing golf in Canberra in promotion of the ACT
Golf Day. He has a handicap of 2 and is thinking of becoming a professional
golfer.
